I will be exhibiting at the textile fair Olympia on the 26th of June. I have some very interesting textiles that I've been squirrelling away so come and see.
Embargo Ended????
I would be very interested to here if anyone has had experience of sending Persian carpets to the USA since the embargo was lifted on the 21st of Jan 16.
I have heard various reports some saying there is no problem others having had difficulties.
In theory one should be able to send Persian rugs to the USA without any difficulty now an agreement has been reached but are the old rules still being applied?

The Fabric of India
Anyone interested in Indian Textiles should visit “The Fabric of India “ exhibition at the V and A. This is a jaw dropping display of early Indian Textiles.
Some of the early Coromandel Coast prints are astounding. The Kashmir Map Shawl which is usually on permanent display is also incredible.
I will post some details of a similar quality shawl I sold 15 years ago, wish I had kept it.
